伊奘諾と伊邪那美

伊奘諾（イザナギ）と伊邪那美（イザナミ）

伊奘諾（イザナギ）と伊邪那美（イザナミ）は、日本神話に登場する神々で、創造神話において重要な役割を果たしています。

伊奘諾は男神であり、伊邪那美は女神であり、二人は夫婦の関係にあります。彼らは天地創造神話において、天空神である天照大神をはじめとする多くの神々を生み出しました。

しかし、伊邪那美が火の神である神産みの際に火傷を負い、それが原因で死んでしまいます。

伊奘諾は悲しみにくれ、死んだ妻を追いかけて冥界に行きますが、そこで彼女を見つけた際には、既に腐敗が進んでいたため、彼女を連れ帰ることができませんでした。

この出来事が原因で、伊奘諾は冥界の穢れを浄めるために身を清め、儀式を行ったとされています。また、この出来事以降、伊奘諾と伊邪那美の夫婦関係は崩れ、二人は別々の場所に住むようになったとされています。

Izanagi and Izanami are gods in Japanese mythology who play important roles in the creation myth.

Izanagi is a male god, and Izanami is a female god, and they are married. They gave birth to many gods, including Amaterasu, the sun goddess, in the creation myth of heaven and earth.

However, Izanami died due to burns she sustained during childbirth as the goddess of fire. Izanagi was so sad that he went to the underworld to find his deceased wife, but when he found her, she had already decayed too much, so he could not bring her back.

As a result of this event, Izanagi purified himself to cleanse the impurities of the underworld and performed a ritual. It is said that since then, the relationship between Izanagi and Izanami as a married couple broke down, and they began to live in separate places.

伊奘諾

イザナギまたはイザナキ（伊邪那岐／伊弉諾／伊耶那岐）は、日本神話などに登場する男神で神世七代の7代目。『古事記』では伊邪那岐神、伊邪那岐命、『日本書紀』では、伊弉諾尊と表記される。イザナミ（伊邪那美）の夫。

Izanagi

Izanagi / Izanaki is a male deity who appears in Kojiki, Nihon Shoki, and other Japanese mythology, and is the seventh generation of the divine age. In Kojiki, he is referred to as the god Izanagi, Izanagi no Mikoto, while in Nihon Shoki, he is referred to as Izanagi no Okami. He is the husband of Izanami.

伊邪那美

伊奘諾の妻で、多くの神々を生み落としたことから、子宝や安産祈願の神として信仰されている。伊邪那美が祀られている神社では、ご祭神として伊奘諾も一緒に祀られることも多い。また、伊邪那美は、黄泉津大神（よもつおおかみ）の別名を持ち、黄泉国、すなわち冥界の女王という側面も持ち合わせている。

Izanami

Izanami is the wife of Izanagi and is revered as a goddess of fertility and safe childbirth, as she gave birth to many deities. In shrines dedicated to Izanami, Izanagi is often enshrined as well. Izanami is also known as Yomotsu-Ōkami, meaning “the great god of Yomi,” and has the aspect of being the queen of the underworld or “Yomi no Kuni” in Japanese.
